2009/05/20 Fahrenheit 451 Test & Essay
Today students wrote their final test on Fahrenheit 451 and received the balance of the class to work on their thematic essays. The essays are due this Friday. Students will be provided time on Thursday and Friday to finish them. Students were also given their final take home assignment which is an oral book report based on their ISU novel (see attached). These presentations will begin on Thursday, June 11.

All students have been asked to have their ISU reflections in no later than tomorrow if they are to be marked. This will allow me to have them marked in time for them to use the sheets when writing their ISU essay next week. Keep in mind that the original due date was May 4th and that they began their work early in March. In Chapter 8, Alred is pressure by Major, Hollis and Sonnie to help the rob the Epstein's store by disabling the alarm system. Think of a situation involving three imaginary charaters in which one person is being pressured to do something they do not want to do. Create a script based on your idea.
